Mount Kisco Business - Mount Kisco is situated in the center of northern Westchester County and has become a "commercial hub" of northern Westchester. Shopping is done on South Moger Avenue and Main Street/Route 117, which are home to numerous locally owned upscale boutiques, especially those dealing in designer clothing and home decor. The recent development, of the town's commercial districts, has increased Mount Kisco's revenue stream. The downside effect of the village's commercial viability has been its steady increase in car traffic since the mid-1990s.
Mount Kisco Metro-North Railroad Service - The New York and Harlem Railroad extended through Mt. Kisco in 1846.
